The biggest impact on you, musically

Aye, I just got an e-mail this morning to say that a gig I was meant to go to last year has now been postponed for the fourth time to next year :woman_shrugging: I really miss live music. Had 4 gigs booked for last year. Eagles would be an amazing night though

I have to agree. I was fortunate to see the Eagles live before some of the main band members sadly past away. The harmonies were just fantastic and Joe Walsh can make that guitar talk. I would have to say that there are one of the best bands I have ever seen live.

Two albums spring to mind for me…
Easy Rider ‘soundtrack of film’
Santana ‘Abraxas’
Happy days wearing Those two out!!

It’s got to be Green Day, especially the album American Idiot. As an angst-fulled teenager, it made a lot of sense to me back in 2004. It’s funny, tragic, violent and songs like Jesus of Suburbia are so well written. Also, seeing them live is extraordinary - they play with such energy. I listen to a lot of music but they will always be my band. I’d go and watch them read out the phone book!

I agree - my daughter got me into Green Day - I saw them live a few years ago and had only heard a couple of their songs up to that time. I have since listened to a lot of their music. I was supposed to see them last year, but as with several other gigs, is delayed. Their show American Idiot was brilliant too - all their songs, sung well with a sketch theme pulling the together.

Also saw the full Eagles line up a few years ago too - fantastic!
