dont think v specs have ident plates - mine came with car mats with V spec embroidered on, so know its true!!!
I have the nasty brown carpets too! YAY I have a V Spec!!! I am over the moon to know it is one, I suspected as much, should tell the insurance now!!
(I was meaning an ID plate, like a limited number type thing??)

No, there is no ID plate, there are loads of V Specs around. Its the tan
interior, wooden Nardi steering wheel, gearknob and handbrake that give
them away. Not sure the insurance company will be bothered, all mine
ask is if its an import, which it is.
