The Glorious Green Gang

Knock Knock

Hi Peeps, room for another little green one ?

Count me and my recently acquired MK1 in too, please…

 BRG Mk1

Count me in

Nice one, from the 1st one to the latest one, both resplendent in different but equally glorious greens of course - within 2 posts… (not that I’m biased towards green at all, oh no occifer) Wink

As the founder of the group I’ll take this opportunity for a shameless pic of my version which fails somewhere between the first and lastest (mines a 2000 model)

Welcome to the fold, that’s a very sweet looking mk1 too Thumbs up

is my Green entry, pictured pre-having a new hood fitted, but after a hefty polishing

Here are mine, hope you like them.

Hi Simon and Debs, welcome to the gang

Hello,

I’m Andy from Scunthorpe with a MX5 VR in ‘Excellent Green’  which is surely more excellent than other colours Big Smile

Was sent this by a fellow MX5 owner - and thought i’d share it:

We call it Blittish Lacing Gleen.

Or the shade of green you get when some numbskull gives a v-spec a quick blowover sprayjob with “Oh, that looks close enough” green. It’s green, Jim, but not as we know it.

And here’s the widescreen version. OEM it ain’t, but does it qualify for gang membership?

Hi All

With your permission I’d like to join this exclusive group?

Here’s my little beast…

I’m still waiting on the '5 fairy to deliver some coilovers and i’d love to get a new set of seats, but I still love her!

Knock Knock…

Can I come in please?

Puff would like to join - Mark 1 v spec 1991. (what do you get for a car for his 21st??)Thinking

Called Puff (as in the magic dragon - green and not very fiery cos he’s only a 1.6.)

How about treating him to a big fat turbocharger and a 5th injector so he can blow some proper big flames?Wink

Dr. EunosGeek

woo hoo, a gang I can join!

Nice idea but then he wouldn’t be Puff.  It seems to suit him, somehow.

I think he did have a turbo on at one stage but the previous owner removed it.

Got some other photos of him somewhere but can’t seem to find the link to post them.  There are in the member photos, I posted them last year under the heading of Puff and friends.  He lives with a 1934 Riley 2 seater which has been modified for hill climbs and sprints.  He also counts an Alvis, another Riley, a 1970’s Alfa spider among his friends.Party
