Anybody interested in helping out on this event on the 11th January 09, starting and finishing at Belford, just off the A1 in Northumberland.
There is usually a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea at the start and a 2 course meal at the finish for the marshalls, you’ll get to see some interesting roads and a good selection of cars from the 1930’s through to the 70’s. I give this generalisation as i have not seen an entry list yet and it will consist of some interesting pedigrees.
There is a number of events like this over the year all under the nescro.com (i think) banner all over the north of england and some eligible in an mx5.
I will be there at the start of the day (in my eunos) as the event safety scrutineer (and then back to work to check on a number of tradesmen).
Anybody interested get in touch and i’ll put you onto the organiser, don’t wait till the last minute as they need to sort out the staffing of these things with a few days to go rather than at the last minute.
