my process for uploading photos in a post is…
write text…
if I want to insert picture I make sure the cursor is under the text. I click to insert picture and I leave it alone until the picture is uploaded. it will change to
!processing something picture.jpg
!uploading something picture.jpg
^^ this is what you need to wait to see
its important to leave it alone as it runs a script to upload the picture, if you change (either accidentally or your internet is slow) it wont load correctly

I upload them one by one instead of all in one hit. Leave time for each to complete the upload and leave a one line gap between each picture, you can upload many in one post
I use the picture icon bottom right on the message box.

The wing can be taken off, think about 10-12 bolts, will need to loosen the bunper on that side, door can be replaced as well - fairly easy work - the hardest part will be finding the parts with the correct colour match!

I’m lucky in that I live in a culdesac so don’t need to worry too much about on-street parking, but have found that in an e.g. supermarket car park I can park as far from all other cars, nothing anywhere near me, nip in to the shop for 5 mins and come out to find somone parked next to me with 10’s - 100’s of parking spaces all around - are MX5’s magnetic???

Thanks for the reply. My neighbour saw it happen. A guy from 10 doors down my road caused the damage and was talking to her,asking whos car it was when I walked out to go to work. Ive had a quote to repair the damage from the bodyshop who did my rear arches back in the spring. Having to wait and see what his insurance company says first
Hope you can get it sorted but looks extensive enough for the inevitable ‘write off’ I’m afraid, you know how these things go with older cars.
Has been said many times before, see if you can get the car back off the insurers if written off, provided that A pillar isn’t bent

I’m expecting them to write it off given its age. The fact that I’ve spent £1200 on rear arch repairs this year obviously count for nothing. I’m determined to get it fixed one way or another
Let’s hope it’s just the door, wing and possibly paint required.
I’d be very unhappy (understatement) if it were mine. I suffered some front stone chip damage a few weeks ago on mine, that was bad enough.
My bodyshop has quoted for a new wing and to repair the door

Either gets repaired off the page independently for cash, or it’s looking like a write off to me.
It does not take much with them.
Been there No Blame twice myself over the years. One, a pristine Toyota Twin Cam just out the paint shop, the other a family Monza 3ltr I’d just inherited…just out the paint shop. Not funny.

Thanks for your reply. For now I’m waiting for his insurance company to be in touch. I’ve already had a quote to repair for cash,which is keeping the cost to him as low as possible. I guess its a bit of a waiting game at the moment

My questions always arise with people like him…was he on mobile? PiZZed? Or just plain thick.
If your car had been a Mum with a kid in a pram…but anyway nobody got hurt.
Any road he deserves to have to anti up.
