Hi to the Silver crew , I,ve recently changed my blue Mk 3 for a new Miyaco in aluminium silver   While I try and work out how to post the picture, you can help with my dilema   What colour should we paint  the calipers ?  I say blue  ere indoors says red  all advice greatfully receivedBig Smile

I have been wondering as to what colour aswell ! Have to say i’d prefer red out of the 2 colours, have you thought about yellow to be diff ? Don on here has painted his silver, and they just look a bit brighter but not ott if you wanted a subtle look.

I’m in.  I painted my calipers blue, didn’t like them, so changed to silver

My Mk1 left the factory with Silver Stone paint, it was then resprayed in Champagne Mica at some point in Japan before being exported to the UK. It goes into the bodyshop on 25th October for a respray in Silver Stone. I will apply for membership when I get the car back from the bodyshop.

Now then, I have to admit that, feeling a bit left out I had tried to join the “Green Gang” arguing that my Cerion Silver Nevada was actually light green (see here http://www.mx5oc.co.uk/forum/forums/t/21486.aspx). Yes, I’m ashamed!

It is true that my car is a bit green, but surely I qualify for the Silver Crew!!
