Just back from a weekend up in Yorkshire from home in South West Wales.A journey i would do in my NB without a seconds thought,but taking a few things into account,I decided to take the lady bosses Kuga.
She has just had surgery on a broken arm and would find the journey uncomfortable in my car.
The weather forecast was spot on with very high temperatures,which might not be a good idea roof down.
The journey included several motorways,not much fun in the 5.
Rain was forecast for this afternoon,which turned out to be torrential in places,the Kuga turning its lights on (auto setting) and the wipers were doing overtime.
So all in all taking the ‘wrong’ car turned out to be the right car,and mine is sat,ready for the National rally next weekend
