I live in North Northumberland and there has been 2 thefts of MX5’s from owner’s driveways around here in the last few days.
A red Mk3 and, I believe, a soul red, Mk4.
The Mk3 turned-up in Sunderland. I don’t know what damage, if any, it sustained.
Apparently the thieves are using an ex-AA Transit van with a lift/towing kit on the back.
It seems the MX5s are being stolen to order.
Just wanted everyone to know, so you can take extra precautions.
