- My model of MX-5 is: Nc1 2.0 sport prht
- I’m based near: Durham _
- I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: Manifold replacement?
Any thoughts or owner reviews on this?
Comes in at £550 After discount, delivery and supply via Tegiwa imports UK.
Looks interesting. Thanks in advance.
Looks like a quality item and has a good name.
My thoughts too. Cheers Davy. Very temped.
Looks well made.
Just curious why a 4-1 header ?
Generally a 4-1 is better for top end power.
For road use a 4-2-1 header would give better mid range
Have you considered this option ?

Looks similar to the £200 ones on aliexpress.
Useful info and well raised. I feel a debate coming on…
Had a look. At first glance, maybe.
Yup, just seeing what else is out there. The IL does get some great reviews.
I have the gravity performance back box on my NC1 - nice quality.
They also do two sets of headers - a 4-1 and a 4-2-1
Cheers Deano. Good to know.
This post is nearly 12 months old so prices have no doubt changed, but sums up my research into replacement manifolds.
Jury just about in for the IL. Yes, I’ve spoken to Clive at Autotronix also. Thanks for the info and help.
Just came across this, a proper 4-2-1 manifold from a well known US brand (hooker). Can’t speak for it myself but looks very good and a great price, taxes and charges being an unknown…
All provided there are no issues with the steering column.
Interesting Dean. I’ll have a proper look. Yes, thought about right hand drive fitment. So as you say will be OK. Best wishes Phil
