Hi. Has anyone any idea where I can get stronger throttle return springs from, for my 1.8 Mk1.
I am finding that when going over bumps, potholes ect, I end up getting a jerky throttle. The car is a S-Special with Bilsteins, and quite hard, lowered springs, which have something to do with it. I have learnt to live with it, by knowing which area of the local roads which, cause me the problem. I feel that the existing springs are very weak and stronger ones may solve the problem.
The alterative is to change the springs back to standard, but I like the superb road holding I have, and don’t want to loose it. Much appreciated if anyone can help. Mike.
