Thruxton Retro 2025 (Formerly Thruxton Historic)

Hi Everyone,

As the title suggest, “Thruxton Historic” has now evolved into “Thruxton Retro” and will now be a much bigger event for everyone to enjoy :+1:

For full details on how to obtain your MX5OC discounted tickets, please head over to the MX5OC Calendar at the link provided below, where you will find all the information you require for obtaining your discounted tickets, as MX5OC members.

Sounds like an exciting update! Looking forward to seeing how Thruxton Retro turns out—thanks for the info and for organizing, Team Solent! :raising_hands:

Excellent news! This was great last year, and the year before…
Thanks for organising, tickets bought.

Hi Mal,
Tickets for Lynn and I bought for the three days as this is a great event. The OC discount was greater than the annual Club membership fee so another example of the many benefits of being a member!!

I have just been online and purchased my ticket for the sunday only, as we have another commitment on the Saturday.

The process was quick and simple, as per the instructions provided, so all good there :+1:

Hi Mal, do we just purchase 1 ticket for car, driver and passenger ?

Thank you Mal

Mal, you do require a ticket per person, it is clearer on the Thruxton site, have purchased for the Sunday

Good morning Howard,

I checked this out on the Thruxton Website and you are quite correct.

I have added a note to the text to point out a ticket is required to be purchased per person :+1:

Hi Everyone,

For info, I emailed Ian Hindmarsh (Web Admin) as the event was not displaying correctly in the MX5OC Calendar and we also wished to share this event to other neighbouring areas calendars.

Ian has kindly fixed this for us, as this is a back end task, so not something an AC would currently be able to do at the moment.

This method shows it on the area calendars as an event ‘owned’ by another area and does not create duplicate entries in the main calendar which is obviously a good thing

The event is now presented as 3 x 1 day events, rather than one event spanning 3 days.

Best Regards

Mal
