Having made the hard decision to sell on my NB VS Roadster (which I’ve had since 2015), I’m wondering how much the potential sales value is likely to be hit at this time of year compared to hanging on until the spring? If there is likely to be a significant difference I could hang onto it for this winter.
NB price should be entirely on condition, if condition is excellent there may be a few hundred more in spring, otoh if someone particularly wants an NB they will pay good price for good condition at whatever time of year.

Thanks for your input. The car is a very nice example. Solid and very presentable. It is an auto so I appreciate that it has a limited market. I think I will decide on a realistic price and advertise firstly on the forum. If it sells soon that’s ok but If it had to wait until spring to shift that’s not a real issue. It is usually garaged for most of the winter.
I’d like it to go to a club member who would appreciate it for what it is
Why wait for Spring to advertise? Somebody might be looking right now for just what you have and you could miss out on a sale. Advertise now on here and if it hasn’t gone by Spring think again.

Yes that’s what I meant. Once I’ve decided what I want for it I will advertise on here first and not wait until spring. It seems the price might not vary much based on the time of year so might as well. I want to get a new MOT on it too even though the current one doesn’t expire until next March.
I had a play with that but it displays all the links/URLs when I first upload the pics but can’t see how to retrieve them once they are uploaded. Settled for Imgur in the end,
Bear in mind, selling on the forum is presenting to a limited market. Be prepared for the long game. I don’t think forums, in general, attract as much traffic as they used to.
I would agree with that and I will advertise elsewhere too after a while. It’s just that I feel members here might appreciate the car more for what it is. And hopefully will continue to take care of it. I know it’s only a car, and not a rare one at that, but they kind of grow on you don’t they?
