Just wanted to ask if anyone here has applied a tinted film on the NC1 brake lights and if they could post some pics of how they turned out?

I’m interested in modifying the existing brake lights by applying a tint as there’s a bit too much chrome inside them for my liking. I don’t have the chrome surrounds like on some versions.

I found this company in the States. Anyone used them or have any other suggestions?

Red LaminX tint looks good, you’d still need a white reverse light though.

My suggestion is dismantle a used set and paint the chrome trim black, but I appreciate thats a bit extreme.

It’s one option. I think you need to remove the lens with a heat gun to get to the chrome?
