Tis but a flesh wound sire

Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty:

Many decades ago at school we used to sing this song. It came to mind today as I attacked the underneath of our 2007 PRHT.

I said words to the effect of Holy, Holy, Holy and then words to the effect of Lord God Almighty.

It’s booked in with the East Riding MX5 guru, Oliver Wild, for surgery in September. By comparison, the right hand side has only got a wee bit of tin-worm!

I hope that surgery can be successful and not cost an arm and a leg . . . .

You could try parking it in heaven where apparently it won’t get stolen, eaten by moths or go rusty! Mathew 6:19-21 incidentally:-)

So, our troubles are over - for the moment.
Tis now a solid car having had BOTH sides done at the end of the rear wheel arch - and underneath.
All sorted and repaired complete with video updates at each stage or if another problem area found - and they were!
Can’t recomend Oliver Wild of the AutoBarn - near Driffield, East Riding hightly enough.
He’s a friendly, trustworthy, honest and hard working person (as all repairer and restorer folk should be but, I understand, not all are).
Highly recomended BUT, as is always the case with high quality crafstmen and craftswomen, he is very busy and so you need to book early!

He has written a few books on our MX-5s and, literally, knows them inside out. The Mk3 one is very informative and full of helpful photos.

Great result by the sounds of it and great that you get to see the video updates of the work as it was being done. :sunglasses::ok_hand::+1:
