Took Red on a 150 mile Road Trip

On his first week anniversary I took Red into Wales from the Cotswolds on a 150 mile road trip.
Dry weather all the way. Some fabulous windy B roads and a delicious lunch at Monmouth.
I have now travelled nearly 500 miles in a week. Can’t stop driving!
Really starting to loosen up (Red is brand new) and man he sure puts a smile on my face.
Bang goes my estimated 5000 miles per annum.
All of you said MX-5s are addictive. Definitely Yes!

The miles in the first year are just inevitable. I bid 5000 on the first years insurance. It’ll be ten.

It’s fabulous to hear that you’re enjoying red so much.

You’re new bound to put plenty of miles on your new ride.

If you think you’re having fun now, just wait until the warm sun shines and you can get the top down.

You certainly chose some magnificent roads to drive.

(Btw… there’s an unwritten rule that you have to drive your MX-5 with the top down anytime there’s not a typhoon blowing… )

I Bought my nd as a second car for weekend runs etc,but now use it for commuting as well. After only a few months I had already added 4000 miles so as a result I had to increase my insurance policy from 5000 to 9000 miles.cost of increase in my premiums was a jaw dropping £3.45. Happy days!

I suspect it won’t happen. Anyway I happily paid mine as being a member increases the fun factor. (hopefully)
