torque specs from mazda shop manual says:
88-118 nm or 65-87 ft-lbs
thats seems like a very big range. anyone have any preference or some reasons why you would choose lower end / higher end?

The Haynes manual says 110 Nm, I go pretty much in the middle and use 105 Nm.

i thought it would say the same as the MSM.
