This is my local circuit, and - current engine rebuild permitting - would be bang up for sharing some track time with some fellow 5s!

Even if your car is not ready for track why not pop down anyway (as it is local) I (and I am sure some of the others) would be happy to give passanger laps and if you know the track you could give me / us some tips.

OK, all booked in!
I think 3 weeks should be sufficient to run in the refurbed engine and replace the discs and pads all around! May even get around to adding some lightness!
Looking forward to it, and more than happy to give passanger laps (or jump in with anyone) in order to give some guidance regarding lines. I’m ceratinly no expert, but have had some tuition sessions with their local instructor, so at the very least I have some idea of what I’m meant to be doing (actually doing it is another thing altogether mind!)

Ive just tried booking on and it said that ‘sales have ended’ so gutted, ive emailed the track to see if theres anyway around it so fingers crossed ill see you there if theres a way of me booking on!
I emailed the track the other day to ask if there was any space, they said it was full but would contact me if anyone dropped out! Nethertheless they called me today and they had space so I booked on!

I am booked into the Novice group as well (I have been tracking for less than a year) but the organisers have said that as there are so many MX5’s coming they will try and let us go out together. I think we will have to be split into groups at some stage as you are only allowed 10 cars on track at a time and there are more 5’s than that from what I have read on here + the Facebook forum.
