I’ve recently moved to West Sussex and I am looking for a trustworthy MOT station and a garage to fit my new tyres. Can any one recommend a good one? Not necessarily the same place
We have tried a couple of local garages for MOTs (on the 5 and another car) and welding and thus far we’ve not been impressed with their behaviour (or pricing!).

Don’t know about MX5 specialists for the MOT but Sovereign Motors (Worthing) got my Mk1 through with no fuss this year
MX5 Doctor isn’t too far away from West Sussex, although I have no idea if he does MOT’s.
LMC in Pulborough is good and have the very latest of alignment kit (they say), although they’re pretty pricey. They say an alignment will take at least a couple of hours… in which time I’ll make you a cuppa as they’re only about 2 mins from my home. They also do MOT’s and servicing.
