Just tried to get hold of some Kumho Ecsta HS51s.  No one seems to stock.  What is the current go-to tyre for road use?

You don’t say where you are or what size you want but have you tried Blackcircles for the Kumhos?  They list the Ecsta HS51’s on their website.

PS: I’ve just done a web search - kumho ecsta hs51 - and found several on-line suppliers.

Tried blackcircles and Kumho sites for stockists and alright they show as available when phoning to arrange fitting then it appears they aren’t.

Have you tried - mytyres.co.uk - they have that size listed as “in stock”.  If you haven’t it might be worth a try.  Freephone 0808 1891233

I have a shed load in the warehouse. They can be delivered.

Thanks for helpful responses. I have just managed to have a set fitted at Tadley Tyre Services, Hampshire.

The difficulty with getting them apparently because Kumho are withdrawing from the UK market.

I think someone might be feeding you a line there. The issue was no stock until 2nd August.
