 Has anyone seen/used one of these?

I was got the link from the miata.net forums.  Would it work on a UK spec car?  I dont see why it shouldnt.  It plugs into the diagnostic multiplug I believe.

 It needs a car that speaks ODB2. In the UK the MK2 was not compliant with this. The Mk2.5 would work with it in the UK but not the Mk2.
