From sad experience - normally you cannot reply to - or edit an original post in this section. It looks like IainF opened the door, which allowed others to post within a period of a few days, then someone woke up and closed it down again.
Motto - if you want an ‘open’ thread, then don’t post it on here - though you may also be asked to post on here by someone who notices that is not an MX5 sanctioned event. - Catch 22 .
So advertising a non MX5 Club event is self defeating, unless you point anyone who may express an interest to an allied thread elsewhere, which could of course get the same response! Only option left is ask interested people to PM you, but make sure you have enough room in your inbox for incoming messages!
Now you know why some groups operate outside the club.
