EDIT…Best degreaser i`ve come across is the coolant we use in the CNC milling machines @ work.
Also TEA believe it or not. Try spilling some on a dirty surface & then wipe it up & see the differance.

Some form of drain cleaner ?
Sorry you won’t be able to see this very well, but I had mine cleaned earlier in the year, which enabled me to touch up with black paint all the rusty bits. Including the front bit near the radiator. I always polish the plastic with autoglym.
Wayne did tell me what he used but I forgot and even if I knew I would not tell anyone cause its top secret. 
It did shift all kinds of dirt though

There is a product in some drain cleaners,that is also in this???be it is a slight bit,but needs to be in there???..but no not drain cleaner

It would be fine with a couple of tatties wedged in the manifold
Plus if you use salt…it will melt the snow,and if you got stuck in the white stuff you will just need to pop the bonnet for your tea??? it’s a win win situation???

this stuff is just to expensive for this simply because of how many bottles you would need to buy to do an engine bay,but the stuff i use will also bring your wheel up a treat and no where near the rip off price of those two products???
