- Unfortunately not running at the moment – broke down in B&Q car park at Easter – believe the problem is with the alternator/ECU. I was hoping that I would be able to find somebody locally to help me out but unfortunately have had no luck – a winter on the drive won’t do it any good either so have decided to go a bit wider for help!
I have spent quite a lot of money having the brakes replaced, new tyres, new hood but feel that this extra expense is more than I am prepared to spend for the garage to fix it and I don’t have the skills or equipment to do it myself.
Looking for an enthusiast who might be interested in tackling the work as a hobby and would either buy the car from me (open to offers) or do the work at an agreed rate? I have really enjoyed driving it over the past couple of years, although limited journeys first by an injury that meant I couldn’t drive at all for 6 months and then by the restrictions of the pandemic (it was a surprise gift from my son for my 60th birthday, shame he forgot I’m not a mechanic)!
