Can anyone advise me on the vds number for a EUNOS 1.6 with the following vin NA6CE202314 THANKS
Google Search Maybe ?
What are you actually wanting it for or wanting from it?
How to read it from the Vin i want to know what the 4th to 9th digits mean ,do you count the N as the first ,
I don’t think that a VDS number as you’re thinking of it applies to an 11 digit VIN on an Eunos.
Assuming your Roadster is a manual, I’d say that its equivalent UK VIN would be JMZNA18B200202314.
If this is for the purpose of determining the emissions test for the mot, then Eunos vins are not listed in the annex. So need to be tested at the non cat test levels.
yes Jacob it is thanks for your reply , when I enquired about cat/non cat fitment, test department said to use*" 4th to 9th DIGITS from vin for Mazda cars"* were their exact words for checking if cat required so bit confused what the 4th to 9th digits are for a Eunos NA
Your car seems to have been manufactured September 1992 according to Search Result - CAR VX so needs to be tested at natural idle speed only. 3.5% CO and 0.12% HC (1200ppm)
Hi Jacob,
Thanks for another reply that helps it seems like the MOT test centres seem to differ in what test is the correct one , I was not aware of the carvx car report web site thanks also for pointing it out it is spot on with dates and ties in with the car import paper work, many thanks for your help , John
