Magazine arrived today by Royal Mail. Envelope already ripped open on delivery . Hence no pass in the magazine. If an MX5 owner is definitely not going I will reimburse them fully and promptly.
I have also contacted Northamptonshire co-ordinator hoping a local MX5 owner is able to help. i will update asap.

How destroyed was the envelope?
The pass is a full A4 sheet!
Full A4 size and not inside magazine but beside. Pure white on the side showing outwards.
Postman must have an MX-5 but not a member.
Haven’t even received my magazine yet, damaged or not…
Might’ve been a better idea to do the passes as an online download for members rather than rely on increasingly unreliable snail mail?
Mine arrived this morning, fully intact.
really looking forward to the meet!
Mine arrived this morning, pass and mag safe inside.
BUT, both side folds of the envelope had begun splitting open lengthways from the middle.
Fortunately they had not spread to the corners at the ends, otherwise the hard, sharp pass-card might well have cut its own way out.
Card companies use a dab of removable elasticky to make sure the card stays put on the letter.
Would something like this be possible? I assume the envelope is machine packed.
I remember routinely packing 350 "internal mail"envelopes for a monthly (works) ski-club newsletter many years ago, before email; that was hard work. 8000 STHT? No way!
My SoftTop HardTop arrived in a torn and wet envelope. Fortunately, the pass was still inside.

Lots of not paid up members on here, the file could be shared or printed several times and used to gain free entry for anyone. The club has a responsibility to both its official members and the venue
With regard to the OP, when in charge of the gates over the last several years, we have had a policy of accepting the Owners Club card if produced as entry. The reason for the hanger in the past has been for speed of identification and entry off the roads and to the parking areas for the gates teams. I cannot speak for this year as I am having a fallow year but i would be surprised if Iain has not planned for these eventualities.
Thanks to all who replied to my request for the entry documents for this Sunday’s 30th Anniversary celebrations. Especially to Guy of South Yorkshire who kindly posted the documents required. Arrived today safely sealed.
