Voodoo Bob passed away

Last weekend apparently. Maybe not that well known, but was among the MX5 “lifers” like me (20+ years).

His gear knobs were THE gear knob to have in your MX5. He also designed the Pollo Rampante bad; the playful poke at Ferrari, which was the thing to have on any self-respecting MX5 owner’s car.

He had Lou Gehrig’s disease. I think he might have been one of the founding members of the MCA, certainly of the San Diego Miata Club.
