Was given some Turkish Delight called Walnut Sausage. It looks nothing like the picture on the box. What I’d like to know is what the heck is ’ cog on the map’ in the ingredients ? Anybody got any ideas?

It’s an amusing but nevertheless bad translation of the Turkish ‘cogen suyu’; should translate as Cogen juice 
Could be aloe saponaria juice?
Here we go, soapwort juice (extract of saponaria officinalis), apparently used in Turkish delight.
Somebody tweeted the same question back in 2014.
