I’m on a search for a nice Mk1 Mx5 either 1.6 or 1.8. The car would preferably be a non-import as this seems to ramp up my insurance which is expensive enough at 19 years old!

I am more than happy doing work to the car but preferably limited on rust and corrosion or as good as can be expected from a car over 20 years old.

I have a budget of around £2000 but am willing to stretch to £2500 if a nice example comes along. Based in Lancashire so also would be nice not to travel too far.
