Water drains

Just purchased a 2006 model but struggling to clear the water drains…it’s driving me crackers…any tips please

I also had a similar issue recently with finding the start of the tubes where the roof sits… After about 15 minutes of poking around I gave up. If you go under the car and look on the inside of the tub for the outlet as RichardFX said above, you’ll be able to feed your pipe cleaner from bottom to top instead and therefore it will reveal the exact place that the cleaner needs to go in from at the top of the car… Makes life way easier. Is there not a valve that only goes o e way, not even sure where the hole is from underneath

There is a one way flap at the bottom of the drain that if pulled up can create a resonance in the cabin that you don’t want. The drains flow out inboard of the cills, a look at the link I posted will show pictures and offer lots of previous experience on the matter.

quickest way is take them out, about 20 mins a side, small screw driver 10 and 14mm socket. check out you tube its pretty easy seat belt reels need to come out

My flaps are missing

Without the flaps, noise levels are very high. Stick a bit of sponge in the exit hole, that will keep things quiet

Hot soapy water down the drains works a treat.
Seems to unclog the valves too
