Water in boot

Hi

Bought the car (2010 retractable roof model) a few months ago and have had no real problems until recently when a water leak has suddenly appeared  allowing water into the boot. The ingress is not just a few drops as it leaves the boot well holding some 25mm of water. All the obvious culprits have been cleaned and checked but to no avail. Why this problem has so suddenly appeared is beyond me, has anyone got any ideas??

If you half raise the top and check in the folding roof storage area its likely that one of the rubber hoses is detached that ferry water from the rubber roof seal  at the bottom of the reatr screen channel to the drains. Other likely areas are rear light seals and wiring grommets
