Hi all. My old car doesn’t get a lot of use even with this great weather. It sits for long periods indoors out of the way. I would like to set up a solar charging kit but one that is waterproof.
I’m thinking of setting up with the solar panel outdoors with a wire taking the power into the garage to a control box that does the necessary things those things do.

I have seen a tidy set up that’s fully automatic and with a waterproof panel rated at 20w or about 6 amps but that kit is expensive……

So I’m looking for alternatives before shelling out £130….

20 watt would be less than 2 amps

try here for a 100 watt panel (8amp)
