Website security warning

I get this quite a lot as I log into Mx5Scotland.

Look out! Your Virgin Media Virus Safe settings have blocked this site

We think this site may be fraudulent or contain viruses that could be harmful to your computer, so it's been blocked by your account's Web Safe settings.

Because we care about your safety online, your Virus Safe settings are set to ‘ON’.

You can easily change your Web Safe settings at any time, just sign in or register for My Virgin Media.

TBH, I don’t get into a lather, and just log in again.

I just put my trust in Windaz 10’s security, Avast, and BitDefender.

No issues, trojans, or other nasties.

In anycase, I also use Cr*pCleaner to nuke everything…every evening shut-down.

Never had a viral invasion as long as I can recall…probably back in Windaz95 days.

I’ve never got that message and I’m with Virgin. Firefox blocks the site though (when their certificate went out of date) as you said I just clicked continue anyway.

Too much Nanny state perhaps.
