Not sure if this is too late for any one travelling southbound on M1 from Nottingham area this evening, there seems to be an accident on M1 south of M42 which seems to be causing delays, according to Google traffic.

Highways England are reporting delays of 1 hour between J24 and J22 with 6.5 miles of traffic building up behind the incident
