Weight saving - how heavy s everything?

I’m not looking to strip my car right back to a bare shell, engine, and 1 seat. But i am looking to remove a few unwanted items.

If anyone has weighed anything that they have removed, please list it, so i/we can get an idea of what is worth doing.

Items removed so far:

Entire aircon sytem, engine bay side of firewall = 15.00kg

Sound proofing behind seats, and on parcel shelf = 2.75kg

Ashtray in centre console (as i only smoke tyres {#emotions_dlg.bigsmile}) = 0.25kg

I have also weighed my roofs:

Soft top & frame etc = 16.5kg

Hard top = 21.5kg

Some items that i’d like to know:

Standard airbox & pipes (that are removed when fitting a K57i

Standard seats (with/without speakers)

Aircon system hidden behind dash

cat & decat

 One of the heaviest items in a car is the driver. Think about weight loss if you’re a big lad and want to carry less.
