Weird Creaking Noise

Hi!

I recently started getting a weird creaking noise in the back of the hard top (see pictures), and after changing the weather strip and adjusting the top it still comes back. I believe it might be the body hard rubber seal rubbing against the new weather strip’s hard lip.

Am I supposed to push the hard top even further forward? Is this common?

It is really annoying cause it sounds like I’m sailing in a wooden boat.

Try lubricating suspected areas with silicone grease or spray. This has stopped many annoying squeaks on my prht.

Thanks! Any brand in particular? I did try lithium grease, but I think it dries up and ends up not working.

This stuff is well regarded. It a small bottle but goes a long way….

Silicone grease is another option that has worked for me.

I have used Silverhook Silicone Grease Tube 80ml from Amazon.

Problem solved! It was those stupid bolts that go to the rear glass. And maybe the seal back there too. I smothered both with silicone spray and left it overnight. So far, no more noises.
