West London Area - Drive to the Coast - Sunday 8 April

Come in the MINI, you won’t be ostrasised, honest.

Sorry to hear about your car-woes, Sandra. Hope it gets fixed soon. Will we see you on Monday night?

Hi Helen
If it’s okay with you, could we tag along in the Lexus? We’ll stay behind all the MX5’s
Sandra

Of course, Sandra, come along.

Great!
See you in the morning.
Thank you.

Helen, thanks for planning another enjoyable drive, with good food at our destination. The short walk on the beach was a pleasant way to walk off some Sunday lunch calories. See you tomorrow  night

We’ll remember to give you your DVD. Thanks for coming, glad you enjoyed it.

See you tomorrow.

Many thanks to Helen for organising an excellent drive along almost empty roads, empty apart from the drizzle that Bob was unable to shift.  I’d forgotten quite how big Hayling Island is, it looks almost nothing on the map.

Here are a couple of wet pics of the assembled cars at the pub/restaurant. The sky was grey, so was the sea, so point in taking a picture of the seaside…

Hi Helen
Thank you very much for today, it was very enjoyable despite the weather and not being in the MX5.
We’re just on our way home now having ‘popped in’ to see our friends that live on Hayling Island.
Hope you got home okay.
Sandra and Kevin

Shame about the weather, but a grand day out nonetheless. Thanks for organising and great venue…

Glad you all enjoyed it - thanks for coming along; it was a good turn out (9 cars) despite the weather.
Great photos, Richard.

Hi Helen thanks for a great day out yesterday and for making me feel welcomed to the club. It sure beat a rainy day looking out the window. Many thanks john.

It’s great that you came along, John. Hope we’ll see you again soon, perhaps tonight or at the spring rally?
