Hope you’re busy prepping your pride and joy in readiness for Sunday?
I hardly want to mention it in case I jinx it, but the weather is looking mighty fine (and that’s without Bob in attendance) so don’t forget your sunscreen; a perfect day to top up the tan.
I’ll be bringing a three metre square gazebo that fits in the boot, and a spare kettle, camping stove and some more gas bottles in case Colin’s one runs out.
But I don’t have nice chairs or a reasonable table to put the stove on, all my camping stuff is for the beach and is low level for sheltering behind one of those impossible pop-up windbreaks!
The gazebo goes up easily provided one reads and follows the numbers on the host of socketed poles…
Forecast is still good, so we might well need the shade.
Don’t forget sunblock, hat and shades.
What a great event and the West London area, with a little help from The Solent and Sussex Downs, did the OC proud…
Envious! Wish we could have made it. Glad it was such a lovely day for it.
