Weston Pageant of Transport

Hi there,

I’ve had it confirmed today by Weston-super-Mare Sea Cadets that the Weston Pageant of Transport is going ahead this year again on Easter Saturday and Sunday - 19th & 20th April.

As I seem to get absolutely no communications whatsoever from the Western Area (on this or any other topic!!!) can I ask, to a broader audience, if anyone from the South Wales area is attending? 2 years ago there were around 15 members from South Wales (& others) who attended as a ‘Club’.

As I live around 5 minutes from Weston sea front I am happy to help co-ordinate / assist any members who would like to attend.

Hello, I am sorry you have not had contact with your local area.    I will have a word with our membership and see if any of them are coming down.

Hi

Richard our joint co-ordinator on the east side organised the trip over last time, I’ve sent him an email reminding him of the event. We’ll raise it in our meeting on Wednesday if anyone from the west side of the area is interested in attending.

Dave

I will bring the Weston event up at next Wednesdays Meeting.

We have attended twice before and its an excellent day, if I can remember the weather last year was bad.

Free parking on the Prom and some other makes and models of cars to look at and all with some sea air.

I think the most cars we had was two year ago when some of the Piston Heads guys turned up and there was 18.

Normally we arrange to be there for the Easter Sunday.

Regards

Hi everyone, the run to WSM on Sunday 20th April (Easter Sunday) is on

The arranged meeting place is Magor Services at 9.45am for a 10.15 ish start.

You simply drive to the Front at Weston Super Mare and all the cars are parked to the left of the Pier on the grass, there is no allotted area, the organisers will direct you wherever you want if you arrive early enough, in other words if you stick to the times as shown you will be one of the first there. Parking is free, but a donation to the Sea Cadets would be appreciated.

Magor services (M4 J 23A) NP26 3YL as previous years.

Its approx. 34mls (about 40 mins) to WSM  BS23 1BA

Thanks for Terry and Rickard for doing the organising for this run, I hope to see you there
