Number 5, surely??
After I had my NB’s seats reupholstered in leather I had a Gliptone Real Leather air freshener in the car to maintain that lovely smell of new leather. In a previous car I had a large version that was attached beneath the seat. A little overpowering initially but thereafter it was like stepping into a brand new car every time. I need something for my NC though. The dealer I bought it from used a rather strong fabric shampoo on the seats when the car was valeted and I’ve not yet managed to get rid of it despite having the roof down as often as possible. May have to find an alternative fragrance to mask it.
My 5 smells of ‘fun’ pure unadulterated ‘fun’.
Hood down - On the outside I can smell the hedgerow, the fields, the local KFC, tarmac, creosote, rubbish tips, smoke etc but nothing inside cos I go too damn quick to let anything fester
Hood up - Can’t smell anything on the outside and on the inside, it smells of me. Lovely
oh no, lol. Sorry guys. I said fragrance in the car rather than air freshener as I am not keen on things hanging from rear view mirror or on vents. Unfortunately up here in Scotland it can be weeks without the opportunity to have the hood down to get that natural smell. Had actually been thinking about a room fragrance smell which I could spray on mats. Don’t want anything too overpowering, maybe something woody or like fresh linen?
Maybe a small linen bag with fresh (Scots) pine needles or sawdust. The smell of fresh pine resin is natural and very pleasant! A few years ago whilst staying in the Cairngorms some nearby Scots pines were snapped off during a storm, the smell was wonderful!
Sad about the trees though!
Next time let me know. Coffees & burgers on you by the way. What else would you expect?
Park next to a field where they are spreading manure, open the window for ten minutes, should last for quite a wile!! Genuine smell of the countryside for townies.
