Hi
I bought a 52 plate 1.6i Roadster 2 weeks ago. I have no complaints whatsoever and it’s brilliant to drive!
However I’m a bit confused (nothing new there). The VIN notice states that the car was built for the Japanese market, yet the rear number plate is UK standard, square as I’ve been led to believe it would be as an import
Can anyone give me any info?
It might have been in a rear shunt accident and whoever owned the car had a new UK version part fitted.
…or to put it in a ‘new-owner friendly’ way. Some people - in Japan and the U.S. - look for Euro parts to make their cars more ‘exotic’ and different, so that’s another possibility.
whatever it is milkshake, you’ll have years of fun.[:D]
Or simply a previous UK owner wanted a UK spec bumper and there was one going cheap?
None of you have read the first posting…It’s a MAZDA Roadster Mk2.5 Bumpers etc are the same as UK
Don’t worry it is a good car I’m sure
Not a case of not reading, but rather not knowing…
