What have you done to your MX-5 today? (Part 1)

I washed mine as was covered in dust then took it for a run.

Now the lockdown rules have been relaxed to allow us to drive, went for the first trip out to a nice foresty area.

Managed a couple of little outings which was great, then a wash and polish :+1:

Insured it tax it next month and off

My mate said it’s slightly tacky!!

Definitely not. Looks great and much more distinctive than mine. What’s the colour of the car?

Galaxy grey, I re covered the steering wheel and it has a red stripe on top hence starting the red theme!!

Excellent choice of colour and goes perfectly with Galaxy Grey. Nice job on the steering wheel too.

Actually it has taken a couple of days. Fitted sequential side repeaters, fitted led strip across the back and added piece of reflective tape where the led`s shine down, adds a bit more brightness and also during the day shows up as a red reflector across the back, and also did the upgrade on the entertainment thingy,

As my 2016 ND Icon doesn’t have an auto dipping rear view mirror and my past Mini Coopers did, I found an OE one from a breaker on eBay and fitted that while hard wiring the dash cam. I got the idea from an Aussie guy on YouTube who has the Fiat MX5124.

Ordered a BBR catted manifold, and cobalt back box today.

I rather like the look of that, Dennis - nice touch.

Finally got round to treating the seats with some Autoglym Leather Care for the first time since September!

Thanks.

The sequential repeaters look good in action, and they are bright,

Got her up on stands and changed engine oil and filter then gearbox and diff oil , oh and fitted a stubby aerial from moss :grinning:

Whilst under I spotted split rubbers on the drop links so will get some on order
