This was a couple of weeks ago. The house in Kirchstetten was where W H Auden lived his last year when in Austria. He was buried in the churchyard just down the lane 50 years ago this coming September. The garden of the house is a place where clearly everything grows! Somebody has cleverly hung a photo of WHA standing on the verandah, scaled so it looks like he is still there.

Edale in Derbyshire last week, the small gap just left of centre is the opening to the start of the Pennine Way, along which you can walk all the way to Scotland.
