What have you Photographed lately?

It’s low :frowning:

Still stunning though!

A welcome goal hanger in the garden yesterday evening.

We’ve had tons of butterflies here this year, compared with virtually none last year. A very welcome sight.

Going to sound miserable, but as well as disliking birds, thinking what do they do for me except depositing and occasionally wrecking car paint, I don’t like butterflies either. Like posh moths. Not a fan of ladybids either, nor posh rats, i.e squirrels. Not a fan of hedgehogs either when I think about it.
Good photo btw

Now there’s a Lake District traffic jam, if ever I saw one!

It actually got a bit scary, these were the stragglers.
A few minutes earlier a Land Rover came through to warn us of the sheep rush, you couldn’t see the road or verges for sheep. They were licking the front of the car too, frightened of the bonnet deploying I switched off the ignition. To be fair they never ran into the car or bounced off it, my fear.

We’ve stayed at the Yewdale Inn, Coniston.

Sat outside with a beer watching them drive the sheep past the pub. Great days…….

We had a coffee down at Coniston water waiting for the steam yacht gondola to appear.
A lovely part of the Lakes, much calmer than Windermere & Ambleside.

I live in Wales

So that’s why many roads have a 20 mph limit, mind the sheep!

Was there earlier on in the week, Llandudno👍

Yes, you’re right.

The boat trip is well worth the cost, as they tell you all about Bluebird and the history of the lake and buildings around it.

Definitely not, it’s full, the picture is from the shoreline where the river flows in.

Love seeing this, the view from our bedroom window today. Some folk say it’s noisy and dusty, I don’t mind, it’s the countryside, our view over the past 49 years.

Tall Ships in Aberdeen over last weekend, quite the spectacle.

Pictured is the Omani vessel Shahab Oman II departing, you can see the crew in the rigging ready to unfurl the sails when she leaves the harbour.
