I didn’t take many pictures at Silverstone on Saturday, but this restoration of a 30/98 Vauxhall is absolutely stunning, probably much better than anything that came out of the factory a century ago.
If my grandfather (an original 30/98 owner and mechanical genius) had seen this one I’m certain he would have given it his blessing.

Forget modern art…I love these pictures.
Day out on a train. I grew up in Leicester, where they had these 125 trains (now withdrawn from service). But lived in Manchester for donkeys years, where we never had them. So I enjoyed an excursion special on an HST125 yesterday.
