Just got back from Miraflores in Southern Spain (early hours this morning) :face_with_bags_under_eyes: . We didn’t take the car, but the delay at passport control at Malaga made me wish we had. :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

Anyway it was a lovely week during which i spotted this NC. Is it just me, or does anyone else think it doesn’t look quite right?

Different aerial from normal on a UK car.

At a guess, it could be dual-band FM - DAB with that mid-loading coil instead of the original with the simpler ground-end-loading.

No idea really apart from how it looks. It would still need a new dual-band amp underneath as well.

My dad used to play with shotguns in the 60s….usually off the 6th floor balcony of our flats in the East End. :fearful:

Really? Not sure whether to laugh or not!:face_with_peeking_eye:

Where in the east end?

Bethnal Green, close to where two notorious brothers lived. I was around six years old, it was the noise of the thing that scared me the most. It wasn’t funny at the time but i laugh about it now, and when i tell that story (and others) people usually stare in disbelief!

On a different note, i just finished turning this set of “rustic” bowls. they are from a big old lump of cherry which was very dry and VERY hard! The key fob is there for perspective.

P.S. Because the wood was so dry and hard, turning this set gave me endless problems…hence the reason i called it “The Ba***rd”
