Hiya,
I found this switch blank on the dash to the left of my steering wheel. I was hoping to replace it with a USB port but when I tried to remove it I found that it has a block connector on the back of it. What is it?

It doesn’t seem to actually be a switch, it doesn’t click or do anything if you press it. It’s on a 2008 1.8.
That model doesn’t have DSC (traction control) so the switch is a blank.
It just holds the redundant spur of the wiring loom to stop it rattling around.
Just unplug the socket and cable tie that bit of loom back on itself
