I like this one but only when taken next to a hot sunny beach.
I am a bit biased towards German beer - lived out there for a while and enjoyed the range of beers. I particularly enjoy the beers produced for Oktoberfest - my beer cellar (okay, it’s just a cupboard in the kitchen) is currently stocked with HB, Lowenbrau, Spaden, Paulaner Oktoberfest beers and couple of bottles of Bitburger.
I don’t drink beer that often now having been diagnosed as pre-diabetic recently so the German beers tend to last a few months - usually to the following September!
I have found a nice gluten free lager called Daura Damm (sugar < 0,5 g per 100ml) so can fool myself into thinking I am being good with my sugar intake!!!
Now that one has my name on it!!! ![]()
After nearly 300 posts it seems ales are more popular than lagers

These beers are a bit hard to get in the uk but if you stumble upon them, I’d recommend to try them.
They’re all excellent to my palate
There are many more reasons however to go visit the brewery’s archipelago !!!
I think the whiskey chaser is more important. But, tonight it’s lager. Bottled and tinned beer have killed my interest in beer. Try a bottled or tinned Guinness. I rest my cask.
Treasure! Opps, maybe only Mild can do this!
Surge pricing.
Had this at full price yesterday, but was 50% today so took all three left. I quite like these high alcohol beers. Usually have a distinct taste and there small volume keeps you fit for tomorrow…
