Deceptively simple.
I knew twin brothers who were talented session musicians and had been given the task of officially transcribing the Beatles music and they reckoned it was surprisingly complex.

I seem to remember a TV programme many years ago which came up with the same conclusion. Can’t remember the details but it was very interesting/enlightening and the people involved were high quality musicians.

I don’t doubt it. I meant in terms of the melody and sing a long capability. Hard to beat.

I have always been big fan of Bryan ferry/Roxy music & still regularly listen to lots of his earlier stuff but his last couple of albums of him just doing cover versions of other folks stuff have been dreadful.
Just bought Back in Black and Machine Head in the last few days. Vinyl of course
