Just sorted out some light surface rust on my MX5 sills with the old Hammeright…
Now need to spray them but I have no idea what the offical colour is, anyone know…???
It is a Mk2 1.8 S Reg In SILVER…
What is the offical name for this Silver…???
Found The Code Now, 18G =HIGHLIGHT SILVER
Where is the best place to purchase a spray can or two…???
Just give the make (ie Mazda) and colour code (from under your bonnet) to Halfrauds and they’ll custom mix you a rattle can.
About a fiver a can so not cheap but a good match.
Are you sure that it isn’t SUNLIGHT SILVER?
The paint/colour code on the sticker inside drivers door is 18G and I checked on a paint website and thats what it said 18G was…
What makes you think it is Sunlight Silver…???
Please do tell as Im a little confused now…???

Hi, guess it depends where you look… try thins link
http://www.dandycars.com/Frequently_Asked_Questions/General_MX5_Questions/Mazda_Paint_Codes.htm
it says that 18G is Racing Silver…
but I guess there is a chance that highlight/sunlight and racing silver could all be the same thing…
