What’s standard on an NC 2.0 Sport Tech

Can somebody please confirm from experience that the NC 2.0 Sport Tech comes with 17” wheel, LSD and Bilsteins as standard?
I’ve read the model guide on Roadster.Blog and it clearly says yes they do.
But when I look at 2010-2012 cars for sale on Auto Trader the spec seems to be quite random.
Would greatly appreciate having my mind set to rest.

Yes, they come with what you want.
I did have a look at auto trader and the specs vary and even where some are saying that a particular car has 16” wheels, you can clearly see it has 17’s fitted. Probably generic info being entered by either the dealers or within auto traders own system.

Yes, as above.
BUT just be careful as previous owners change suspension to suit and some just put standard ones on and not even replaced with bilsteins.
Likewise, aftermarket units fitted too.
So always best to double check each car you are interested in. :+1:

Thanks for that.

Naturally I’ve scoured Auto Trader and I saw the car with 16" wheels you mention.

For some unknown reason Auto Trader adds LSD and Bilsteins to the spec for 2011 cars and later.

Thanks for that.

The car I have my eye on is very unlikely to be modified. But you’re right, it needs checking. How can you tell?

The standard Sport Tech bilsteins are yellow and “Generally” have the name on them in blue.

If you Google you will see what I mean.

Thanks, I will get the dealer to check (apologies for the noob question).

Not a noob question, but a logical one. :+1:
No problem, if you need anything else always ask.
Always someone on here to assist.
Some dealers aren’t always the best people either!
A good knowledgable mate will help you out.

I looked at a Kuro last year, basically a sport tech underneath/inside but body colour differs and light coloured seats and side graphics.
Looking under the car I spotted immediately it had different suspension, a different back box. Opening the bonnet I also spotted a different manifold to standard and when starting the car it sounded much louder but in a nice way.
It peaked my interest to know whether the car had been mapped and by how much.

Anyways long story that one and I didn’t buy the car in the end, the dealer (a large countrywide dealership) didn’t have a clue about the car and how it had been altered. The did know enough to ramp to he price up after I’d told them about there car.

Don’t trust a dealership to give you the correct facts, unless of course dealing with an MX-5 specialist.
